SIMENT Water Tower 5

'Siment' is a collection of 5 concrete planters inspired by the different water tower shapes seen across India, particularly, Bangalore.

Crated by local artisans, these brutalist structures retain the functional and architectural features of the towers, including ladders, windows and stairs and turned them into miniaturised decorative elements.

These water towers are an intrinsic part of the landscape and have all now taken on  secondary or unofficial use over time.
